Kerala India

Hello, I’m Annie Jeanne.

Shreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Hospital, Kerala India

Nearly every person has a truly unique health journey and I am no exception. After a lifetime of struggle with severe extra pelvic Endometriosis and a diagnosed Mast Cell disorder, I began asking myself, How do I become truly heathy? I decided to dive deeply by enrolling for an MS in Ayurveda as Integrative Medicine. I couldn’t shake the feeling that certain aspects of my ill health might have been preventable. I want to be clear here and state that I do not practice medicine. That role is reserved for Physicians and Doctors. My role as an Integrative Health Specialist is to work in conjunction with your Doctor or Physician to address the areas of life that Modern Western Medicine often overlooks or simply doesn’t have the time and resources for.

Western Medicine has superior diagnostic ability and treatment of manifest disease. In Ayurveda we attempt to detect imbalance before it manifests as disease. If you think about it, we only see our physicians to treat ill health because western medicine is based on disease. But no-one ever said disease is necessary. My role is to help you develop and maintain health in the mind and the body preventatively. This can include things such as diet, exercise, routine, meditation, breath work, and general everyday wellness. I do this all through the lens of a 5000 year old holistic tradition known as Ayurveda.

My Approach

It all begins with what is considered to be the oldest science. The Science of Life. Ayurveda is an ancient tradition and holistic mind body approach to staying healthy and living a long life. Ayurveda is thought to be the oldest system of healthcare and is recognized and practiced as such in countries around the globe. While the United States currenly does not recognize it as a medical science, much of recent and current ongoing medical research continues to validate many of the valuable ancient principals this system has to offer. You can now find Ayurvedic Practitioners employeed in a number of Western Integrative Health Facilities and many of the Major Hospital Systems in the country.

Determine your design

Ayurveda sees every person as having a unique individual mind-body type. This is why there is no one size fits all approach to health. What’s good for your unique design may not be good for the next person. An Ayurvedic Practitioner, is able to help you determine your unique mind-body constitution with great accuracy and depth.

Find your Balance

Once your unique design, digestion, and imbalances are determined we work together on slowly removing the causative factors in life that contribute to imbalance and slowly introduce factors that bring balance.
