What should I expect during an Ayurvedic Consultation?

Ayurveda is holistic in its approach. We will define your wellness goals for your mind, body, and spirituality. I’ll determine your body type and digestion through pulse analysis and a series of questions. You will leave with an understanding of your unique body type and digestion and a few actionable steps to implement right away

WHat can Ayurveda help me with?

In the East and in many countries around the world Ayurveda is a complete medical system with branches in everything from psychology to surgery. Here in the West Ayurveda is primarily used as either an integrative modality or preventative medicine. This type of holistic practice focuses on the balance between body, mind and spirit. It encourages such balance through diet and nutrition, exercise, yoga and meditation and your overall lifestyle.

WHat makes Ayurveda Different?

Ayurveda is preventative and holistic in its approach and addresses the mind body and spirit of the person. It seeks to correct imbalance at root cause of ill health making it the perfect compliment to western modalities which focus more on the treatment of symptoms of disease.

Your individual unique wellness plan is a series of tailored actionable steps for you to integrate into your life over time. Consider it your roadmap to greater wellness. In Ayurveda we find great success in making small changes and allowing those changes to fully integrate. This is ultimately less stressful than making huge dramatic changes all at once.

How Fast will I see results?

The time of experiencing results can vary depending on the imbalance. In Ayurveda deep imbalance that has developed overtime can only be corrected overtime. However, due to our bodies innate desire to be healthy, many people experience changes in their level of wellness very quickly with just some of the more simple daily actionable steps of their plan.
